On April 28, 2026, the 6th President (Expanded) Meeting of the 8th Council of the Geotechnical & Engineering Survey Committee of China Engineering & Consulting Association (CECA-GESC) was successfully convened at the Group Company's Hebei headquarters. The meeting was meticulously hosted by the Group Company. Leaders of CECA, the president, vice presidents, standing council members of the GESC, and industry experts including distinguished National Engineering Survey and Design Masters gathered together to discuss the industry's development strategies and jointly draw a grand blueprint for the high-quality development of the investigation sector.

The meeting was co-chaired by Xu Hongsheng, President of the CECA-GESC, and Ning Jundong, Secretary General. Zhu Changxi, President of CECA, attended the meeting and delivered an important speech. Li Huawei, Vice President of the CECA-GESC, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the Board of the Group Company, delivered a welcome speech on behalf of the host. He extended a warm welcome to the leaders, industry masters, experts, and colleagues who had traveled from afar, and expressed sincere gratitude to the Association and fellow professionals for their long-standing trust, support, and assistance to CHCI. In his speech, Chairman Li Huawei systematically introduced the Group Company's over 70 years of rich development history, core qualification strengths, cutting-edge technological innovations, and the "Dual-Headquarters, Dual-Market" strategic layout. He noted that CHCI, founded in 1953, has grown into a comprehensive geotechnical engineering technology group integrating investigation, mapping, design, construction, testing, monitoring, consulting, and scientific research.,The company holds high-level qualifications including Class A Qualification for Comprehensive Engineering Investigation, Class A Qualification for Surveying and Mapping, Class I General Contracting Qualification for Municipal Public Works, Class Ⅰ General Contracting Qualification for Construction Works. t has established high-end research platforms such as a provincial key laboratory, a postdoctoral research station, and a provincial geotechnical engineering technology innovation center. For many consecutive years, it has been recognized as a National High-Tech Enterprise and a National Excellent Investigation and Design Enterprise. He also stated that, as a vice president unit of the Association, the Group has always adhered to its core values of " Cooperate with Each Other - Be Loyal and Dedicated; Strengthen the Enterprise and Benefit the Family - Be Innovative and Practical; Harmony and Sharing - Unity and Dedication; Everlasting Business - Hard-working and Self-discipline" and the development strategy of "Technology Leadership, Dual Excellence in Quality and Service." During the meeting, attending delegates focused on conveying and learning the relevant guiding principles from CECA 's meetings, comprehensively reviewed the GESC 's 2025 work summary, deeply discussed and finalized the 2026 work priorities, carefully listened to reports from various working groups, and approved important proposals including the adjustment of Deputy Secretary General positions, admission of new member units, and financial revenue/expenditure and budget. They also jointly discussed important documents such as the Guidelines for High-Quality Development of the Engineering Investigation Industry. The delegates engaged in in-depth exchanges and built consensus on core issues including industry transformation, technological innovation, quality and safety, digitalization, and international business expansion, clarifying the direction and path for the industry's next phase of high-quality development.

In his speech, Zhu Changxi, President of CECA, expressed warm congratulations on the successful convening of this meeting, highly affirmed the past work of GESC, and put forward clear requirements for the future development of the industry. He emphatically noted that engineering investigation serves as the "pioneer, compass, and ballast stone" of engineering construction. The entire industry must uphold safety bottom lines, strengthen innovation-driven development, accelerate transformation and upgrading, continuously enhance core competitiveness, and better serve the overall situation of national engineering construction.
